I guess the sweep just wasn't enough...



Thanks to a sub-par start from Beckett and an uncharacteristic 4 errors committed by the defense (all coming before the start of the 7th inning), the Sox lost their eighth in a row to the MLB-best Angels. I know it's a little early to anoint them the 2008 World Series Champs and everything, but would anyone be totally confident going into a 5 or 7 game series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim right now? Me neither... Today's day off will be a welcome respite for the reeling Red Sox.
