While Joe Buck was doing another obligatory plug for Fox's 24: Redemption (much along the lines of TBS' Frank TV plugs... oh, in case you haven't heard, this guy named Frank Caliendo apparently has a TV show and he does impressions and stuff, I guess he's really good at Madden and Bush, maybe you've heard of him...), McCarver pounced on the opportunity his tag-team partner presented him and came up with this pearl:

"Well, tonight what we're seeing is '50 redemption' after the two bad starts by Jamie Moyer against Milwaukee and Los Angeles, pitching well thus far."

Get it? Because Jamie Moyer's jersey number is 50? Classic.

UPDATE, 12:09 AM: McCarver decided to follow up his excellent quip with a womanly cackle after watching the replay of Moyer's expression during the Pat Burrell catch on Evan Longoria's 5th inning drive to left. Absolutely priceless.
