The Picks - Super Bowl XLIII Edition

So here's the deal: I'm not even remotely close to being 100% confident with this pick, but if you can get the Cardinals at anywhere near +200, take them to win. Yeah, the Steelers are favored for a good reason, but anything in the playoffs is as good as a craps shoot when it comes to betting. The Cardinals are playing at a very high level right now; that offense has never struggled to stay in games, and the defense has stepped up big over the past few weeks, as well.

Cards to win

Moving on, I typically despise prop bets. They're like the red-headed stepchild of the betting world. That being said, if I were to actually wager on any this go-round, here's a smattering of the ones I'd choose:

Cardinals total points: Over 20.5
Total sacks by both teams: Over 5.5
Total interceptions thrown by both teams: Over 2.5
Will the Cardinals ever have the lead over the Steelers: Yes
Will Willie Parker score a touchdown: Yes
Will Hines Ward score a touchdown: No
Kurt Warner longest completion: Over 39.5
Will Kurt Warner throw an interception: Yes
Tim Hightower total rushing years: Over 20.5
