Let me preface this by saying that in no way do I think Tom Caron actually said the phrase "My nig" on the Red Sox Gameday Live pregame show a few days ago, even though it sounds exactly like that's what he said. It's much more likely he said the phrase "By big..." because that's pretty much where his interview subject, Globe Sox writer Nick Cafardo, left his previous comment. Just wanted to get that out of the way so NESN's legal team didn't hunt me down or anything.

That said, how funny would it be if TC actually did say "My nig" on live TV? It would easily have to be one of the Top 5 TV blunders of all time, right? Like probably just as funny as that news anchor asking his female fellow reporter if some chick likes penis again . Anyway, this video's good for a few laughs despite the fact that TC obviously didn't drop a racial slur on all of us.
