Celts Re-Sign Nate Robsinson

That'll do donkey, that'll do.  The Celtics re-signed PG Nate Robinson to a two-year deal worth 9 mil.  For people who can only do math at a 2nd Grade level like me, that's 4.5 mil a year.  Considering Darko Milicic got 4 years/16 million DOLLARS from the Grizzlies this off-season, 4.5 mil isn't bad for Nate Dawg or the Celtics.

This is a good move by the C's because the free agent class has dwindled since Lebron caused numerous suicides in Cleveland by bolting to Miami.  Nate was most definitely better than any other option via free agency, and he did a great job last postseason pumping up the Garden when he was in.  I haven't seen anybody do that since Eddie House left and not many players in the NBA have the charisma and energy to be able to do that.

It also doesn't put a ridiculous amount of pressure on Avery Bradley to come in right away and be the starting back up point guard...so to speak.  This is huge for Avery Bradley because he just had ankle surgery and is going to miss 6-8 weeks, which would've been spent playing with Luke Harangody in the Summer League.

So basically, if the Celts didn't re-sign Nate, they would be relying on a rookie, who didn't play at all in the Summer League, to lead one of the more sophisticated offenses in the NBA.

All Danny has to do now is lock up a shut down perimeter shooter and another big and they're ready to fuck shit up this year.
