Yanks Gone Wild

I don't get it. Is this any different than what the Yankees always do? (Rhetorical question.) Am I supposed to suddenly be scared of this overrated rotation? 'Cuz quite honestly I'm not. It's yet to be proven if Kuroda's skills over in Quadruple A land - excuse me, the NL West - will carry over to the best division in baseball, and in spite of his tremendous talent Pineda had one good year in a pitcher's park. Couple that with the fact that you're still relying on some combination of Ivan Nova, Phil Hughes, AJ Burnett and Freddy Garcia for the final two rotation spots and I'm nowhere near impressed.
Is the rotation better than it was 2 days ago? Absolutely. Is it the best in baseball? No, not even close. Who's pitching staff would I rather have, ace through closer, for 2012? Still the Red Sox, no question.
